a bit about me

Hi - I’m Rebekah! I grew up in Shetland, (which I still affectionately refer to as ‘home home') but the North East is home for now. We've only recently moved here, having spent the last few years in Fife, Scotland.

Shetland was an unbelievably special place to grow up. Surrounded by heathery hills, empty spaces, endless horizons, & forceful weather. I didn’t appreciate it much as a teenager mind you, but it’s a big reason why I love the outdoors. I moved to Edinburgh for university, and whilst I loved the contrast of the city, the hills & ocean will always have my heart.

I got my first camera as a teenager, and spent the following years trying my hand at landscape photography. Landscapes are lovely, but there’s something about capturing people and telling their story which is truly special.

After finishing university, I began my career in marketing, particularly in digital, where I’ve spent the past five years building experience and developing my skills. I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of marketing, which is another thing that led me to storytelling.

I live with my husband Adam, my son Micah and our two miniature dachshunds Phil & Colin. I love to travel, and spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether it be hiking, running, skiing or camping.
